Whale Watching Tour (January to March only)

The various performances presented on the sea are truly spectacular!

The main species that can be observed is the “Bryde’s whale.” This species can reach a maximum length of 15 meters and is known for its highly energetic performances. Witnessing their dynamic actions is an unforgettable experience!

◇Price: Half-day Course – 1 person (10 years and above) – 7,700 yen
Full-day Course – 1 person (10 years and above) – 15,400 yen
◇Tour Time: Half-day – ①9:00-12:00 ②13:30-16:30 (Approximately 3 hours)
Full-day – 9:00-16:30 (Return to the port and break from 12:00-13:00 / Lunch)

Before departure, our staff will provide information about the day’s route, the ecology and behavior of the whales. As we venture into open waters, the boat may experience some rocking motion. If you are concerned about seasickness, we recommend taking anti-seasickness medication in advance.

The temperature is usually around 15-20°C, but due to the wind, it can feel chilly. Please bring outerwear that can withstand getting slightly wet. Down jackets or raincoats made of material that blocks the wind are recommended over regular coats. Wearing a neck warmer, sunglasses, and a knit hat will add to your comfort.

• The reservation service is available only for guests staying at our hotel.
• Upon confirming availability, the reservation will be considered complete upon receiving the reservation confirmation email from our hotel.
• Please notify us at amami@mirucollection.com for any changes or cancellations to your reservation.
• Cancellations made from the day before the activity or later will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
• In the event of unfavorable conditions such as inclement weather, strong winds, or high waves that are not suitable for the tour, it may be canceled

Important Notices

• Even if whales are not visible during the tour, refunds will not be provided.
• Minimum number of participants: 2 persons.
• Once the tour has commenced, if you experience seasickness on board, you will not be able to return to the port unless it does not pose any issues for other passengers on board. Please consider
• the possibility of seasickness carefully. We recommend taking motion sickness medication in advance.
• For those who have a flight on the same day, please make sure to confirm the return time and your flight schedule.
