Cancellation Policy
Full refund for cancellations requested 10 days before the tour date (Japan Standard Time).
Additionally, a refund will be provided to persons who are unable to participate on a tour due to
flight or ferry cancellations officially issued by an airline or ferry operator. Please note that tours
may be cancelled by the operator for safety purposes and/or unspecified reasons in the event of
severe weather conditions, incidents beyond our control, or situations inhibiting us from
conducting a quality tour in a timely manner. In such instances a full refund will be provided and
customers will be notified of tour cancellation as soon as possible.

Terms and Conditions

  • Reservations can only be made for Miru Amami hotel guests.
  • Reservations will be confirmed by email from the hotel after confirmation of availability.
  • Minimum of 2 people and maximum of 6 people per reservation.
  • Children under 16 years old receive 50% off when booking with 2 full-paying adults.
  • Participants under 17 years of age who are accompanied by an adult (18 years and over) will require a written consent from a legal guardian to join any tour.
  • A full refund will be provided for cancellations notified 10 days before the tour date (Japan Standard Time). However, any third-party costs or processing fees incurred during the refund process will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • Tours may be cancelled by Amami Tours for safety purposes and/or unspecified reasons in the event of severe weather conditions, incidents beyond our control, or situations inhibiting us from conducting a quality tour in a timely manner. In such instances a full refund will be provided and customers will be notified of tour cancellation as soon as possible.

Inportant notice

  • People who have been drinking alcohol, and people who have had a sudden loss of consciousness are not allowed to participate.
  • If you have any medical conditions, you may be required to submit a doctor’s certificate in advance.
  • Depending on the weather and sea conditions on the day of the tour, the tour may be changed, postponed, or cancelled.
