Miru Amami will be temporarily ceasing its hotel operations this weekend: September 17 – 18, 2022, due to the oncoming typhoon which is expected to pass through Amami Oshima and subsequently Miru Amami.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused to our guests who have already reserved a stay at Miru Amami on the specified dates. Our highest priority at Miru Amami is to ensure the safety and well-being of our guests as well as all the crew. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. 

Information on Temporary Closure For

Hotel Operations due to Typhoon Weather Conditions: We will be closed starting from 13:00 on the 17th as well as the entire day of the 18th, and scheduled to reopen at 13:00 on the 19th.

Inquiry Window: Temporarily closed from 14:00 on the 17th as well as the entire day of the 18th. The window will be reopened at 8:00 on the 19th.

Restaurant: Temporarily closed after breakfast on the 17th. Scheduled to reopen at 18:00 on the 19th.

Normal operation hours are scheduled to begin on the 19th, although this reopening date remains to be tentative as there is a need to assess the potential damage that might be caused by Typhoon 14 (power outages, communication failures, etc). We hope for your continued support and understanding. We endeavor to do our utmost best to restart hotel operations as soon as possible depending on the unforeseen circumstances
