Vibrant, rich flavors embodying the marriage of land and ocean
For generations, the people of Amami Oshima have relied on the Nari seed for sustenance in times of hardship. Though the seed is poisonous, the Amamians learned how to remove its toxins and transform it into food. Amanari Restaurant is named in honour of this rich history — Amami and Nari. True to our name, we transform local and seasonal ingredients into offerings that delight your palate and nourish your soul. Whether you’re after a light lunch or an omakase meal, dining at Amanari will be an unforgettable culinary experience.

Our restaurant, Amanari, caters to guests three meals a day. Breakfast and lunch are casual and available for take-out as well, to enjoy in the privacy of your room or out and about. Dinner is a more refined affair, featuring our chefs’ creative Japanese omakase-style menus, always highlighting the season’s ingredients and a delight to end your day. We also boast a comprehensive shochu, wine, and original cocktail menu. Reservations at the restaurant for dinner are required at least one day in advance, and we can cater to special dietary restrictions, so please give a call to our friendly front desk for details.
