Amami Oshima is a paradise with clear blue waters, lush subtropical flora, beautiful beach resorts, and exciting outdoor activities. In July 2021, it was recognized as a World Natural Heritage Site and is considered Japan’s third-largest remote island. This island offers a rich natural environment full of popular spots perfect for family sightseeing and family-friendly adventures.
We have curated two family-friendly itineraries that begin at Miru Amami. These itineraries offer a perfect mix of activities and sightseeing that, when combined, completes a 3-day, 2-night adventure that lets you explore many areas of the island efficiently.
