Want to experience these breathtaking vistas for yourself?
Then it’s time for an adventurous hike up Mount Yotei this Summer. This stratovolcano, which stands at 1,898 metres high, is situated in Shikotsu-Toya National Park. There are four paths that lead to the top of the mountain: the Kutchan (or Hirafu) Trail, the Kyogoku Trail, the Kimobetsu Trail, and the Makkari Trail. We recommend the Makkari Trail for its gently sloping, well maintained path.

This summer, get outdoors and take a fishing trip to Shiribetsu River.
With its countless tributaries and abundant surrounding nature, this beautiful river is home to a diverse range of freshwater fish species. Its also one of the cleanest rivers in the world, perfect for enjoying clear, calming streams.
