How to get to Kakeroma Island

To reach Kakeroma Island, hop on the Ferry or water taxi from Koniya Port, the southern entry point of Amami Oshima.

Operated by Setouchi town, the ferry offers a picturesque 20 to 30-minute journey across the Oshima Strait, stopping at Seso and Ikenma ports. The ferry can carry both passengers and vehicles; however, tickets are required. Please contact Setouchi Umi no Eki in advance to purchase your tickets.
